Laura is an E-RYT 500 International teacher and featured online yoga teacher for Yoga International, Om Stars, Grokker, Yoga Vibes and My Yoga Work. She is a four-time cover model for Yoga Journal Italy, Yoga Journal Singapore and Om Yoga and Lifestyle Magazine, and has been a regular contributor for Yoga Journal USA.

Laura sought out yoga to help combat serious health problems due to a decade of stress and insomnia. She gravitated toward yoga because it reminded her of the similar meditative movement she found when she use to dance. The healing, grounding benefits she received from yoga was so profound that she decided to change the course of her work to help others find the same relief and peace she found through a fluid, meditative vinyasa practice.

Laura teaches smart, creative, well-rounded and intelligently sequenced classes. Her classes are invigorating with a smooth, rhythmic flow. She is adept at catering to different levels and abilities, ensuring that all of her students feel welcome and at ease. Her extensive studies under primary teacher Jason Crandell, and trainings under Shiva Rea, Yoga Works and Senior Iyengar teachers, taught her smart sequencing and precise alignment, as well as the benefit of fluid movement and creativity, all of which influenced her eclectic instruction style.

In recent years, after experiencing a significant hip injury, surgery, plus other injuries due to repetitive stress from 15 years of dance and over two and a half decades of asana practice, Laura has become passionate about teaching teachers and practitioners safer alignment and sequencing while keeping classes interesting and fun. She is a strong advocate of practicing in a way that will last a lifetime. She is also passionate about helping teachers find their unique path and giving them the tools to make their dreams a reality!

In addition to her collaborations with Yoga Journal and Om Yoga and Lifestyle Magazine, Laura has been featured in Mantra Magazine, Origin Magazine, SELF Magazine, and has written for publications such as Yoga Journal Australia, Yoga Magazine Holland, Greatist and Refinery 29. She has taught many international workshops as well as presented at The Yoga Journal Conference, Mammoth Yoga Festival, The Bali Spirit Festival, Om Yoga Festival Manchester, Yoga Festival Milan, Stockholm Yoga and Dance Festival, Wanderlust 108, Yoga For Hope and Yoga Rocks the Park and worked as the Yoga Director at the San Francisco Bay Club’s Mind/Body Center.

For over a decade, Laura has contributed to national and international teacher trainings, co-led a 200-hour teacher training with Jason Crandell, and currently leads her own 200 and 300-hour teacher trainings throughout the U.S., as well as mentors teachers in creating successful public and online teaching careers.
